Same -- the 4-4500 range has been, in my discussions, the floor. So I just am not clear what happens, esp when you dip below say 3500... Because there's a whole international infrastructure positioned on the presence of int forces in numbers no lower than 4500

4500 allows for cont'd CT + Train/Advise/Assist missions from at least the "4 corners" of the country (i.e., major bases in the N/E/W/S + Kabul). At 2500, TAA mostly goes away (except for in Kabul) & at best you can maintain presence in Kabul + 1-2 other major locations.

Effectively, 2500 = Centralized CT + (some) TAA of AAF & Afghan SOF + DIB (TAA of MoD/MoI)
