Sure, but I guess I'm not even thinking about veracity? It's just the phrasing is ... wow. The word "excuses" in the thread. That its so public, while Afghanistan is mourning these utterly horrific things (whoever did them).

I see your point. I can just hope a journalist can give everybody clarity on this horrific attack. Khalilzad is too biased to claim this, and I really wonder if his intelligence know who is behind it. They often didnt when I was interviewing them about earlier attacks.

At some point i feel its time for a journalistic investigation? who did this? Its important for knowing the enemy, fr justice, for peace. Maybe I overestimate, but if journo's show these attacks will be uncovered, there will be less 'freedom' to do these attacks unpunished.

Sure - by all means. I guess I'm thinking about justice as well. These are war crimes. So if there is an ICC tribunal or formal justice in some form, you would want to make sure you've gathered evidence that would support a case
