I see your point. I can just hope a journalist can give everybody clarity on this horrific attack. Khalilzad is too biased to claim this, and I really wonder if his intelligence know who is behind it. They often didnt when I was interviewing them about earlier attacks.
Agreed. I would suspect it's on AIHRC and UNAMA Human Rights, as the only vaguely impartial rights bodies, to actually investigate each incident -- if there is indeed any clarity is to be had about responsibility

Yeah, I personally don't know if US had intelligence to prove this was ISKP attack. Statement seems to suggest blame was apportioned based on modus operandi or the fact the Shia were targetted. Hence my surprise. Also, that US would so blatantly contradict & undermine AFG govt.

I agree. Tho i'd wish it was different, but this war shows relying on these institutions is a lot to ask from people - esp with horrific acts. But I feel media have less political boundaries and more freedom to investigate, and freedom to publish (though this can be dangerous)
