I'm wondering if there is a way for agencies to distance themselves from that - while still exerting pressure for access? You know, getting an agreement from the Taliban not to tax supplies (might be already happening in some places)...or...
using this to push back on Taliban pressure on clinics. And likewise, calling the ANSF to account for blocking access, raiding supplies, etc.
Worried that I'm not seeing an independent humanitarian voice on this saying: regardless of what happens w IAN, we need to work w all sides. And here's what we need everyone to do I know some of this is happening, so I'm probably not giving enough credit - but I want more of it!
But I would be curious to hear your take - do you think this is off base? (I also just really fear the humanitarian is going to get instrumentalized and sucked into the undertow of political priorities...)
