My disagrmt is on this: the lies were/are real. I was outside the USG, but I was there. That voters/congress haven't cared enough to hold these things to scrutiny is part of the problem. But the American public owes @CraigMWhitlock a debt of gratitude for trying to make them care
If a rich and competent state as the USA puts incompetent people in place to run an invasion and it's aftermath, that too demands scrutiny. Human errors are inevitable, but not on this scale and with such systemic insistence. Also: it is a too comfortable explanation, isn't it?
