the wildest thing about san francisco is not even the crime, it's the way our government will straight up publicly ridicule you if you complain about the crime. this woman works in the district attorney's office. https://twitter.com/ChatfieldKate/status/1411848440468819969 …

Actually when you realize folks like Kate Chatfield only care about might over what’s right you realize it doesn’t even make sense to try to reason with them. They don’t care about facts or logic or even foundations of a free society. They only care about advancing their power.

This truth is constantly re-demonstrated, and needs to be reiterated because the good-faith 'debaters' like
@micsolana have difficulty conceptualizing people who have the capability and desire to violently dominate1 reply 0 retweets 12 likes -
Like arguing with a constrictor asking you to stay still for an easy meal - there will be no convincing and release if you argue, just a more violent tightening

@micsolana and@michelletandler made when I observed their chat with@chesaboudin on CH. He wasn’t there to discuss things honestly. He’s engaging In realpolitik. Playing a different game that well intentioned misunderstand.2 replies 0 retweets 17 likes -

Exactly - I listened to that conversation and am sorry it wasn't recorded; like watching Drago beat Creed - eye opening to the reality of a vicious and bad faith game and how good the real players are

@chesaboudin was able to talk circles around the fair-play VCs and seemingly won the debate as to whether he had *any* accountability or ability to influence the observable deterioration of SF civic life OR the justice system2 replies 0 retweets 5 likes -

The thing that will save folks is the cloud doesn’t force people to be treated like assets to be fleeced by corrupt governments. SF is about to experience this the hard way…sadly even then they won’t learn. will blame people for “extracting” and leaving after running them off.

Unfortunately I think the “hard way” is explicitly desired, with the groundwork intentionally pre-laid to offload blame for any resulting hardship on the “entitled” “extractors” and the only learning being that value destruction is an effective strategy to cement local powerpic.twitter.com/kMOA5UObml
