It's absolutely shameful that the president apparently gave an award to a bigoted hatemonger like Rush Limbaugh.

Looks like I'm gonna have to replace my phone and I'm waffling back and forth about whether to go back to the iOS ecosystem or stick with Android and get a Galaxy Note or something.

do i understand all this correctly, that that the boy mayor was alleged to be behind the spiking of the pre-caucus poll, alleged to have connections to the developers of the caucus app that exploded, and then stepped up to declare himself the winner in all the ongoing confusion

The only person I see on my entire timeline who isn’t completely disgusted with the party as an institution right now is... Neera Tanden, who has somehow found a way to blame Bernie for this

24 hours ago pretty much everyone thought Bernie would win Iowa. Now we get an inconclusive result out of the first contest due to, and I’m being as generous as possible, world-historical incompetence by the Democratic Party. That, to be clear, is the least conspiratorial version

"257 bombings" related to gang fights, but he leaves that part out and lets his perfectly normal audience fill in the ethnicity and imagine terrorism

Nazis still trying to spread lies about Sweden that have been widely debunked. There are no "no go zones" no matter how much you want them to be.

What about the strict regulation of weapons? No? You just like the rather stacked and unfair criminal justice system?

Okay, so maybe you like the Japanese characteristic hyper-efficient use of space, and the viability of using public transit and walking in their cities due to these things? No? Again?

Often the far-right weirdos like Japan so much because it somehow 'proves' their concept of an 'ethnostate' works... Which from what we know or have heard, it's actually proof that kind of ethnonationalism is damaging.

Do you like their valuing of group relationships and ideas of communal reaponsibility for things, which is the cultural force that drives a lot of their national and community pride in traditions, and how clean and safe Japanese cities are? No? Thats identity politics, you say?

Do you like their willingness to incorporate the good or cool traditions and cultural elements from outside into their own culture and make them their own? No? You just vaguely like the interest and valuing of "tradition"?
