This time 6/10 transactions with declined magstripe I had to do via NFC or chip. 1/10 - chip&signature 1/10 - CNP 1/10 - only one swiped 1/10 - and f course, you always are able to do fallback, inserting a card in the wrong way

I've been in the US about a year ago and recently. I have to say, Visa promises of flooding the market with NFC cards... It seems happening. 1 year ago 90% of my transactions were made via CardNotPresent or magstripe.

The US is still behind. Most major corps are paying huge fines to still do MSR. It’s nice they’re starting to get the new equipment certified but still seems weird out for dinner and they take the card from the table. I must just eat out too often.
