A single-payer, Medicare for All system would still allow people to buy supplemental insurance from private insurance corporations for cosmetic or experimental services. It would eliminate for-profit, private insurance corporations from being the main provider for Americans.
Imagine if you didn’t have to worry that leaving your job would cost you your healthcare. Many Americans are stuck in jobs they don't like simply because of employer-based health care. Single-payer, Medicare for All would allow people more freedom to explore the job market.

That is precisely the false choice. I believe health care is a right. Everyone in Medicare Extra has health care. Everyone. We just don’t eliminate the choice of insurance for employees that like their current health care. But if they want Medicare, they can have it.

That's bull. Clinton has promoted M4A for decades, and Neera does not oppose M4A, she opposes destroying our current healthcare system in order to do it. We can have both. It'd be cheaper, less risky to accomplish and fewer people who oppose it. M4A and private insurance.
