    70% income taxes on high-earners are both familiar (we had them not that long ago) and supported by the bulk of expert research. It is the DC establishment that's dumb on this, not AOC.

    From the clip it doesn't seem like her argument here is that raising taxes on the wealthy is *the* way to fund a GND. But! The consumption habits of the ultra-rich are extremely bad for the planet. Cutting into their disposable income is a good way to help lower their emissions

  12. IDK. I just find Trump's call to ban Muslims from entering the US, bragging about sexually assaulting women, calling Mexicans 'rapists,' passing a tax cut on the backs of the poor, to be more offensive than 's "F-bomb" but maybe that's just over half the country.
