#askingautistics we all deserve accommodations that allow us to access society equally. My question is what do we do about competing needs? Ex. One person needs to stim while another is overwhelmed by the movement? Or one person needs quiet while another needs sound?
There are too many competing needs in society in general. People have to understand that accessing society equally includes making compromises. Might be an unpopular opinion among other #ActuallyAutistic people, but it is also reality.
