It's great that major sports companies are recognizing the different clothing needs of athletes.
But before Nike, there were companies doing this work. @Capsters @Resporton_Hijab and @friniggi + more who have been doing this A LONG time.

These companies are the result of women who cared long before it was important. More community based projects and designers as well.

I need to recognize
@hummelUSA and@oiselle who have designed hijab friendly wear and supported Muslim women athletes. -
Nike isn't the first and will not be the last. I expect Adidas to come out with something soon as well.

Important to keep in mind that there were footprints for this. Also, Nike is a company. And there is a large client base for this

But if I see ads and posters with all kinds of women, it will make me very happy. Very, very happy. Representation matters.

Sad thing is now they see it as a business opportunity not as helping people out (as those companies began).
