Startup Yearbook At the end of each year—a “yearbook” should be distributed to employees at a retreat. It’ll include memories along w/ portraits of each person. People sign the end of the yearbook w/ their favorite memory [of that employee]. Has a startup tried this?

Remote Employee Onboarding (Kits) A service that purchases all necessary hardware & software for new employees in their country and handles all tax implications, shipping, etc. for a flat fee. I'm curious to see if anything like this exists with an emphasis on remote?

Negotiation as a Service (NaaS) Hire a firm to negotiate all of your cloud contracts on your behalf and let them keep 25% of savings or $1k (whichever is greater). No real downside for company. Surprised this doesn’t exist!

What is some feedback you'd give founders who are in a state of constant iteration to find PMF within a market?

Few things we did to get to early PMF: ∙ Kept burn very low ∙ Followed a routine (gym, breakfast, work, etc) ∙ Stayed insanely focused (no mtgs outside of user calls) ∙ Were very open-minded about what we were building and for whom ∙ Weren't afraid of constantly "launching"

It seems there are a # of companies in YC that quickly realize [early on in their batch] what they're building isn't working out and are thinking about pivoting. Early on at Loom, the first 8 months were spent pivoting and iterating until we landed on something that "worked".

Anyone in SF have an extra desk I can crash a few days out of the week for 1-2 months? My new place is currently being furnished and I would love to use a quiet space in the interim

3/ And there are other times when you need to slow down to go faster. Prevent complete burnout by getting your ~8 hrs of sleep, exercising, eating properly, (and most importantly) listening to your body. Use your best judgement to calibrate accordingly. That’s how we all learn.

2/ There are times when you need to roll up your sleeves and work. Work as long and hard as you need to—in order to get the job done.

1/ This whole “work hard vs. work smart/less” debate comes up once every few years on Twitter. The thing that’s been argued multiple times over is the idea that these two work outputs are mutually exclusive paths to “success”.

Has anyone found a better alternative to Wirecutter? Does such thing exist?
