I don't think folks who aren't in the queer community (or a PoC or Jewish) quite understand how concrete our plans are to GTFO of America if needed. Access to medication (including hormones) is a worry if we needed to leave.https://twitter.com/skimbrel/status/1058349202370027520 …
Do you know which specific regions the PVV is big in? The Netherlands is about a fourth the size of the state I live in (Oregon). I imagine they might be hard to avoid?

They're the second largest in places like Rotterdam and the Hague, but the most popular in relatively destitute areas of the country. But remember, even though the Netherlands may be the size of Oregon, it has the population of New York state.

I'm not Dutch and rely on foreign reporting, and despite the clear wave of xenophobia and racism (Belgium had the same with Bart de Wever), I'll take 13% as opposed to 40%+ any day.

Yeah, my problem is I do diversity and inclusion consulting. I may be white, but that doesn't mean I won't become a target for fighting racial discrimination.

Places where you'd feel at home as a highly educated English-speaking immigrant mostly coincide with GroenLinks/D66 strongholds: Amsterdam, Leiden, Utrecht, Haarlem, Wageningen, Nijmegen, Groningen, Delft...
-
The biggest PVV stronghold is basically the entire province of Limburg. I have been in Limburg for the past month. I'm pretty visibly trans and my experience has been fine; racism and anti-queer attitudes don't correlate nearly as strongly. But yes, people here are racist.
