NEW: Bernie Sanders, and all other Democratic candidates who have dropped out of the presidential race, are now officially off the ballot in New York, leaving just Joe Biden. The Democratic presidential primary on June 23 is canceled.

As a note about mail-in ballots: the state is sending absentee applications to everyone, not the ballots themselves. Instituting a true vote-by-mail system would require a constitutional amendment, a multi-year process. Poll sites still must open in any district with an election

Changing my party to republican. Will wait for progressives to take over. Until then, I will be a republican. Hope there are a lot of third party options. Would hate to vote republican. But at least that party allows me to vote.
