Effective psychotherapy. If “just talking” to friends benefitted people 80% of the time (which is the success rate for therapy), we’d be out of work. In reality, most effective mental health clinicians have a waiting list.https://twitter.com/morganhousel/status/1157714756674969600 …

What do you use to “track” outcomes? Is there a company that provides this software? Or do you do it on your own
-
There are lots of evidence-based measures and software providers of them. I track outcomes & alliances every. single. session. But I'm data-oriented & meticulous. I can point to any client, chart their outcomes, & provide an index of how effective I am as a clinician. 95% don't.

Usually doesn't take 6 sessions to build rapport. I can significantly improve if not outright cure simple issues in 6-12 (e.g. a specific phobia). My practice is all subscription--regular video sessions, tracking/messaging in between, & being on retainer/avail for urgent issues.
