I saw 5 tweets in a row on how African parents suck, I was lost on why the generalized negativity. I see now my experience is very unpopular, wouldnt hav guessd it would actually trigger ppl who didnt feel the same no invalidation just callin out what I saw n tweetin my own view

Don't get us wrong, we love our Africa parents. We appreciate them so much, but there are things going on in our house that don't make any sense. We can't talk about it because of "Culture and religion".

We all love our African parents, but some people are pointing out faults that exist in African style parenting and there is nothing wrong with that. We should all aim to be better than our parents, like they taught us.
