With a younger demographic, an Alberta Pension Plan would have a lower contribution rate than CPP to pay current pensions,” said Don Raymond, former chief investmt strategist at CPPIB. “This assumes AIMCo delivers comparable returns to CPPIB, which I strongly believe they could”

"Alberta is already landlocked. Albertans need to decide if they want to a landlocked province without the ability to do much about it, or a nation with the leverage to reach our potential."

Letting job creators (or families) keep more of their own money is not a giveaway. "The government does not have some automatic right to every penny of this collective bounty."

Former Liberal Premier Frank McKenna absolutely nails it. Justin Trudeau’s attacks on the energy sector have driven jobs and opportunity out of Canada and into Donald Trump’s waiting arms.

True. She may not know who's in the Middle Class, but she sure knows that abject loyalty to Trudeau is the reason why she's a one-percenter. 🤣😀😂

B.C. NDP leader complains that fuel prices so high. Quebec leader fears shortage of propane. How stupid are some politicians? Both oppose pipelines, fight against oil and gas. For secure energy you need oil and gas pipelines.

In politics the great non sequitur of our time is that 1) things are not right and that 2) the government should make them right.Where right all too often means cosmic justice, trying to set things right means writing a blank check for a never-ending expansion of government power
