From my viewpoint, 501(c)(3) type organizations are more of the intended recipient of these credits, along with perhaps independent maintainers that could use assistance with infrastructure. That said, there are some 501(c)(6)s like Ruby Together that aren't like Linux Foundation

@awscloud should be able to work with@opencollect to solve that issue and open this up to a larger audience. Starting a foundation is a LOT of work and if you can do it, these credits probably are a nice-to-have vs must-have. -
