This is, imo, the best app for enhancing learning that I have found. Removes the fear of not having a "perfect" filing system

The old philosophy of Stoicism tells us we will meet some people who are, frankly speaking...assholes. But we dont control them, we still need to work with them, to cooperate. Can you do that?

The best way to learn how to lead others is to learn to lead ourselves. Leadership starts within

"To govern was to serve, not to rule." This quote is 2000 years old from the Stoic Philosopher Seneca, but is as relevant today, possibly more so. How can we apply this as leaders & managers today?

My 10 year old daughter went to a skateboarding party, and was so scared. But she carried on, and keeps practicing at home. That was bravery, she can teach me a lot

Is it just me that thinks Leadership is becoming just too complex? Until we can lead ourselves in a half decent way, how can we be leaders of others?

Time to be honest with myself. Are my current actions taking me where I want them to?

If we know leaders should have integrity, what are the drivers to make this more important than other leadership traits?

If you lead people at work, try to measure how many times you jump to a conclusion. It's surprisingly easy to do...but what if you're wrong. Surely our teams deserve us to consider, rather than jump?

Marcus Aurelius suggested we should undertake every action as if it were our last. My question is whether that includes the hoovering?

So I said to myself..."Stop with the perfectionism, and do something." We can too often avoid action because we've already focused on the outcome. Sometimes...clarity sucks

If I had to justify myself to my mentor for my behaviour and thoughts, 24/7, especially when I'm alone, I know I would be a different person.

No one is really going to help you or give you direction. In fact, the odds are against you.

If today was your last day on Earth, what unfinished business needs to be done? Repair a relationship perhaps? Do it today, because for some of us, this WILL be our last day on Earth

If we could fully grasp the Stoic idea of loving everything that happens to us, wouldn't life be fantastic?
