HTM 3's caching is really exciting. This video shows how only the dynamic parts of a UI are updated, even though the whole demo is a single function and "renders" every update in full. https://codesandbox.io/s/damp-snow-rjjrt?module=%2Fapp.js …pic.twitter.com/wz2zxdCv2n

ok here's a version of the demo innerHTML ("no framework"). I've affectionally dubbed it "innerHTM"http://codesandbox.io/s/innerhtm-v1ugh …
Hvala. Twitter će to iskoristiti za poboljšanje vaše vremenske crte. PoništiPoništi

can you use it like a replacement of lit-htm? I'm playing with that now, jsx + lit-htm + web components. Enough for very simple use cases.
-
If you're using Lit as your renderer, I would recommend using Lit's html function as well. They work well together.

wouldn't memoizing the createElement/h function achieve similar result?
-
iirc the libraries don't do this to support the impure use case of that function call

Is there a benefit for server side rendering as well?
-
yes. it will reduce memory consumption and render time for static subtrees, same as on the client.
