Yes, I'm reading this and thinking how Tinder has negatively impacted my ability to romantically relate to potential partners in my age group. No one courts anymore. The average woman still requires more than a right swipe and a 'wanna come over' to sleep with a stranger.
While at the same time the on-demand nature of dating apps seems to have given young men the idea that this is an effective seduction technique. Swiping right and inviting a woman to their stinky apartments. Netflix & Chill.
This is a great point. I firmly believe that education is part of the solution, most dating resources for men suck. I was woefully single for a time. Studied dating science and it helped greatly but only once I found good information.
Yep, they basically have Tinder, porn, problematic rom-coms, and scam artists who tell them the way to woo a woman is to make her feel badly about herself. I think our entire generation, including women, need to be taught how to treat each other when seeking relationships.

This is untrue. Men *think* this is problem when it’s not. I’ve flat out stopped using dating apps because most men on it either 1) don’t know how to hold a conversation to even go on a date when there’s literally a list of conversations topics on our profiles
2) are not looking for monogamous, non-open relationship with the same life goals 3) do not know how to properly and timely express disinterest in a woman but will sleep with them anyway, which creates a high level of mistrust
Is there data on number of men with a lot of sexual partners? One thing that could be happening is widening inequality in access to sex among young men, perhaps driven partly by apps like Tinder.

Agree, the bad stories suck. There needs to be a dating site where the profile excludes anything you can't tell about a person easily. Filtering by height, occupation, suburb, even age, etc is never done when out on the weekend.
