    Listening to this debate, it's like Republicans are gonna pick up right where they left off in 2010, complaining about the process in Congress and how much money Democrats spend, like they didn't just blow up the deficit and preside over the most closed Congress of all time.

    when i was tweeting the other day about how the rise of Gen-X Dems in party leadership is bad news, this is what I meant. Dems over 70 still talk like this sometimes, even if they don't act on it. Dems under 40 increasingly do. the ones in the middle are allergic to this language

    Why does the U.S. have one of the lowest rates of breastfeeding in the industrialized world? Maybe it’s because we expect new moms to go back to work almost immediately, then force them literally to smuggle breast pumps past security to pump at work.
