This is why claims that 'lesbians are being erased' by trans people and 'must be protected' from them are so insulting to actual lesbians like me. I know who is really on my side and it's not the people harassing others in bathrooms

Needing an accessible loo means I escape the bathroom version of this. If only it were only a bathroom problem. Trans people are never the ones causing the grief.

I have been misgendered many, many times, when trying to enter the women’s toilets & elsewhere. It’s never caused any upset, ever. I recognise that it’s about safeguarding all women. It’s not about me. I think your fears about being humiliated are misplaced.

I am not talking about being misgendered which is unpleasant enough. I am talking about being physically blocked or removed from bathrooms or having security called on me. I am not ‘fearful’ of this happening hypothetically in future. I am taking about things that HAVE happened

You don’t look anything like a man, and I don’t believe that anyone mistakes you for a man. I look very similar to you, and had much shorter hair (a buzz cut) for years until COVID (grew it out b/c barbers closed). No one EVER mistook me for a man. This is a false narrative.
