Thousands of neo-Nazi channels being deleted according to Youtube, but "Jose Santiago" wants proof that there were any Nazis at all. Like I said, we weren't having an argument about a subject on which we had a sincere disagreement.

@GlennKek2020 knew the truth, but wasn't going to stop lying until I could prove he was lying. He was going to go on lying for as long as he thought he could get away with it. This is not the choice of an honorable man.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

But look at this discussion. That was a choice that Youtubers, by and large, were completely comfortable with, so really, are the adpocalypses really a bad thing?

If a subculture that is built on a foundation of backstabbing, trolling and bigotry is destroyed, overall, shouldn't that be a thing to be celebrated?

There are some individual creators who are going to get a raw deal, in the short run, and that's a shame, but in the long run, in a community where the trolls are calling the shots, who doesn't get scr**ed over, in the end? Also, what other forward is there?

What kind of future is being built when marginalized people are slurred, harassed and bullied for years on end, and then that abuse vanishes from public view, because most of the people in a community are ready and eager to take part in a conspiracy of silence?

Anybody who has had the misfortune to being on the receiving of bigotry in a redneck town knows exactly what I'm talking about, when I refer to one of those, and that's exactly what Youtube has been functioning as: a giant redneck town. Why preserve that?

Are a few independent creators, who did nothing wrong, going to get hurt? Probably, but what is the inconvenience compared to the murders already carried out by Atomwaffen Division https://www.npr.org/2018/03/06/590292705/5-killings-3-states-and-1-common-neo-nazi-link … a neo-Nazi group that used Youtube to recruit followers?

We're supposed to worry about the independent creator, who is going to lose a source of income and have to go look for another way to make a living, but give no thought at all to the victims of neo-Naziism, as it makes a comeback with the help of Youtube and its community?

Those are the priorities we're supposed to make our own? Apparently so, and what an interesting comment on most of the people in this so-called discussion, Tim Pool included, that they are 100% comfortable with the idea of doing so.
