My use of the singular was no accident. I don't believe that there's really much diversity of thought to be found in the Alt-Right. Be sure to listen to ALL of the video before assessing the character of the person speaking.

Then really think about what he's saying. Perhaps without thinking about this, himself, he has told you how such a thing as the rise of neo-Naziiism is even possible in America. Because most people react without thinking.

They'll hear that soft, soothing tone. They'll see him act like the much put-upon, reasonable nice guy and not notice that he's dropping some of the same non-factual conspiracy theories that white supremacists have been pushing for years into his political sales pitch.

Sort of like a confidence man, only instead of trying to get your money, he's trying to get your support for something not so very different from what Hitler would have wanted.

Same old dog whistling about the Holodomor and alleged Jewish plots to destroy the White race that keep coming back, no matter how many times they've been debunked, as the literal Nazis try to act like they're the real victims.

Is Twitter really trying to throw the anti-Semites off this site? If so, that would be a nice change of pace, because for the most part, the company has been doing the reverse for years, locking and suspending Jewish users in response to the frivolous complaints of the Nazis.

Not Conservatives, not Libertarians, literal, genocide supporting neo-Nazis. The sort of people who used to drop by and post racial abuse and death threats on another one of my pages, after finding out that I was Jewish and then would use alts to come back after I blocked them.

The "Holomodor" refers to the killings that took place under Stalin. The conspiracy theorists / neo-Nazis will try to claim that the notoriously anti-Semitic Stalin was taking part in a Jewish plot to destroy the Russian people by pointing to claims that Lenin had Jewish blood.

"You do know that Stalin and Lenin were different people, and that Lenin's support had shifted to Trotsky, don't you?", one might ask, finding this effort fruitless, because the Nazis aren't trying to appeal to the smartest people in the room. They're going after the most st-upid

One could also say something about the Ukrainians being the ones who did most of the dying in the Holomodor, not the Russians, but really, the Nazis' target audience won't understand or care.

One group of Europeans killed another group of Europeans and once again, the Jews are being used as scapegoats, allowing Europeans to escape the blame for their own misdeeds in the eyes of other Westerners.

Perversely enough, the very id-iocy of the true believers will become the reason why a lot of self-consciously "nice" people will voice their public support for such a horrible effort. Making dumb people feel bad about themselves simply isn't allowed, you see.

But eventually, when a bad position sees public support for long enough, people will forget the hidden agendas that were in play (such as those exaggerated concerns for the feelings of mo-rons), if they ever knew of them in the first place.

That which was said will define the consensus if it is said for long enough and gone without meeting an effective challenge, regardless of why it was said. This is why the sparing of a dumb person's feelings is not a good reason to support his dumb positions.

But, they get supported anyway. By playing the sad, beaten down victim, those pushing Hate can succeed with the help of people who will think that they're being "nice" - some of the same "nice" people who will tell the victims of the Hate to quit whining later on.

This has happened before. It will happen again, and last time the madness took full hold in the West, over a third of the Jews living at the time payed with their lives in the course of just a few years. 73 years later, our numbers have still not recovered.

Some people would speak of cycles, but this can't truly be a cycle, because in the long run, we can't survive a series of shoahs. They're just too effective.

No, as we watch the people of America start to rally around these sweetly smiling maniacs, we need to ask ourselves a forbidden question. "Is the Diaspora sustainable, in the long run?" In the West, at the moment I'd have to say that it isn't.
