What's the overall message again? "Add fruit to your diet" ... you disagree with that?

Lemon water is "weight loss friendly"?
2 replies 0 retweets 3 likes -
no one said it burns 250 cals ... but replace a large soda with it and you are down 250 kcals... sounds very weight loss friendly to everyone that doesnt count every gram of protein carbs or fats they intake ... which is >99% of all people.

Um. Interesting logic. The lemon doesn't actually make any difference does it?

Ah yes, the "complementary" argument
. By that logic, sitting on the sidewalk or filing your nails are weight loss friendly too.1 reply 0 retweets 3 likes -

So, to be clear, none of you think promoting low/no calorie beverages is beneficial? Even when a leading cause of excess calories is sweetened drinks?

I think this is a glass half empty/half full situation. You're all looking at this differently. Jake is saying: instead of cola drink lemon water! Which is great. What I read from the article is: swap out water for lemon water. Which is pointless.

I see how you got that, but its not exactly the case. We have a million direct messages saying 'dont drink soda, drink water.' This is a simple promotion for a no cal beverage. It uses different advertisement tactics to promote a healthy beverage intake. True health promotion.

@CakeNutrition Went through the Cleveland Clinic twitter page/articles many times and it never gets better. It is filled with what you describe as the ends justifying the means. Blatantly false claims that MAY end with okay or good recommendations. P.S tooth erosion is a thing
