Agreed. There’s a common sentiment that food doesn’t taste so good as it did when we were children. I think that may be because offal, gelatine and grass reared animal products are no longer prevalent. The taste is remarkably different.

Absolutely. I’m in Yorkshire so I have access to some great farms. But in general it can be hard to find without paying disproportionately. My vegetarian friends still wince when I talk about this stuff, but dead animals have been very kind to me.

Agreed. I grew up in Yorkshire. Not in poverty, but non processed meat was still a treat. I think that does affect your view and appreciation.
