Wish people talked about this more!! Don't get nausea but do get a very specific 'I'm missing a piece of the argument but can't see where yet' sort of gut tension, which is well worth listening to

Part of my math learning process has been about recognizing and familiarizing the visceral correlates of the conceptual learning arc. I wish I had been taught this at school! I think the insight process cld be generalised though the specifics may be peculiarly individual.

Agreed! Feel like I’m only now learning the absolute basics of working with this stuff… seems like a big missed opportunity. Also agree ‘peculiarly individual’ makes it hard but prob not unworkably hard.

Learning math rigour for emotional development would be an interesting high school curriculum! Not too far-fetched imo. I think much of that necessary development for/with math learning is picked up from family support. If it’s not available that way, there’s no other recourse.
