For me, the most interesting part of the discussion was why U.S. women work longer hours and are better represented in management than their European peers.
The cross-country differences are vast!!!

In the podcast, Goldin suggests US women work longer hours & are thus more likely to get top jobs. That must be part of it
But Iβd raise an additional hypothesis: with more full-time female workers, U.S. workplaces are less masculine, with less fraternal capital compounding bias
