Therapy is great but it’s not accessible for everyone and it’s not the end all be all.

Therapy won't get rid of anxiety that comes from having to worry about if you'll have a place to live or enough money.

Saying this because diagnosed general anxiety here, but nowadays most of my distressing anxiety is stuff that no amount of therapy can address, simply because it's not an irrational fear.

I strongly suspect one of the reasons counseling hasn't done that much for me has to do with that I've never, at least not since I was really little, experienced actual stability.

Therapy has helped me but seriously THIS. Only tiny pieces of my life can be considered “stable” (now...) & still, that’s gilding the lily. I only have therapy rn, no other docs, no stable support, it feels absolutely futile.

Not having medical insurance be tied to a job. WFH options all the time for lots of jobs. Flexible work schedules. Disability accommodations.
