    I don’t need lots of friends, when the ones I have now are great friends. I respect their decision to step back if they need to but I’d be lying if I weren’t a little sad about it. So. Now that’s been said. Moving forward it’s pop tarts and unicorn farts on Twitter.

    I finally met a couple of people at shmoo f-2-f and it was great albeit brief! There were many I missed as well so hopefully there’s a next time. This year was shorter than usual and maybe it’s for the best. Stay thirsty Infosec; I don’t doubt you will.

    Wow, this is... interesting and a little insane. I wonder how it detects sarcasm, humor, and is there a flag for glee?

    I had to get a background check for my job, and it turns out the report is a 300+ page pdf of every single tweet I’ve ever liked with the work “fuck” in it. Enjoy your dystopian bs! *waves*

    What CompTIA considers acceptable for Sec+ CPEs, *sigh*. Blog, book, syllabus, or white paper are acceptable but not training courses unless accompanied with certificate of completion. I paid and attended but now realize they won’t be considered. Read the fine print everyone.

    So I vented a frustration the other day. It was generalized about a group but I was made aware today it was received individually. I feel bad because it wasn’t intentional and I don’t like insulting nice people. So tonight I need to reflect on how not to be a jerk sometimes.

    Disinformation across online platforms is a growing issue. There is a seminar in DC specializing in it this weekend. I can’t think of a better place for this seminar or a more appropriate time. Roles with participation in information sharing and management will benefit from this.
