    people look to the RHT model as the only truly monetizable model in opensource history. many years back when advising VMW on a potential RHT bid this was a key pillar of the mck pitch.. but literally as RHT was being acquired by IBM, databricks set the v2 of monetizing opensource

    the real moat might be in the embedded firmware on up, the drivers, the systems on top (edge based tracking for computer vision for example) focus on that if you want your moat
