Did systemd really change the sd_notfiy API backwards-incompatibly to require that you pass SCM_CREDENTIALS!?

Yeah, the documentation for SCM_CREDENTIALS is not very good. This confused me just a few days ago.

It would be a lot less confusing to use getsockopt(fd, SOL_SOCKET, SO_PEERCRED, &ucred, &len) which is an explicit call the receiver makes to get sender credentials, instead of magically pulling data out of a sent packet without the sender knowing it. But systemd
