So I switched my main computer OS from macOS to Linux recently but am still using iOS on my phone (and intend to stay there) and let me tell you: this is kind of a pain now. I just want to transfer images to and from my phone

I tried using USB, but I couldn't get any of the hackish software (like ifuse) to work reliably. The protocols are complicated and proprietary, and have to be reverse engineered every iOS release.

Also, iTunes is a total no go because of DRM. So I use a third party music app (MusiCloud Pro) which spins up an HTTP server which you can use to bulk transfer music. As a bonus I don't have to use the iTunes UI that everyone hates.
