      Honestly I really hated the whole Canto subplot because imo it didn't affect the rest of the movie at large and plans/plots kept being discarded be Rose/Finn/writing team. Only redeeming point I see is when you talked about older gen disappointing younger gen. Ty for article!

      Character limit still limited me there, but I feel the need to say I found TLJ to be 'fun', not 'good'. Rogue One reigns supreme for me ❤️

      Yeah I'm a stickler for narrative structure bizniz, think TLJ could have been cleaned up a bit. And heeeeell yeah Rogue One, it's got the tightest/self-contained structure I've seen in a sequel/prequel and singlehandedly embodies every major Star Wars theme. Fantastic movie.
