the college i 1st went to had this thing about highest gpa cutoff to take any of the classes required for a degree from them in junior year. When i found that out i wanted nothing to do with "nonprofit" private higher education b/c it made it hard to make friends w/"competition".
Thissss I tell students this all the time. Your strongest allies are the people next to you, not ahead of you. I can't tell you how many job opportunities I've gotten through friends I met from school. Would not be where I was without them, and it's fun to grow together
