I have a friend who works at Hotel Sorrento who was very surprised when I sent her screenshots of the game's hotel interior. "They've definitely been here," she remarked. (But apparently didn't tell anyone?)

Yeah I cackled when I saw the Sorrento in a review. I'm sure there was a reference gathering trip early in development, before they could announce it was set in Seattle

There are so many real buildings in this game. This is Daniels Recital Hall in real life, which was a church at least at the time this happened In game. It’s a synagogue in the game though because plot!
