My parents have started opening their very occasional out-of-the-blue phone calls with "EVERYTHING IS FINE" and I think we should all start every unexpected phone call this way forever

HARD SAME after my mom died we had to train dad like "every unexpected phone call is triggering, please sent a text or immediately use a diffusing opener"
My dad was in an a bad accident several years ago and now every call that comes through not on a lunchbreak or weekend sends a huge adrenaline spike
