ipad pro arrived early and just going to kinda nod in agreement with what my pals have said about the new keyboard cover I'll still probably replace my 13MBP with a "real" laptop but this is just about perfect as a personal computing device
yeah?? is it worth it?? I've been eyeing it and daydreaming about turning my ipad into a travel laptop
not sure yet - it's nice enough for light working from the couch since most of my tools / dashboards are all available via web so I have high hopes
how does it feel balanced in your lap?
right now, the biggest gap for me is that I don't have a real shell / have to do dev remotely on my mac mini it's not terrible but could be a lot more productive given a few things
I also formerly owned a surface book 2 which I loved but didn’t use enough and gave to a gamedev friend - what I really want is macOS on the iPad and given recent new that might be more possible that’d be the ideal setup for me that or give us nerds a shell/chroot
