Absolutely! I really loved that the mechanics themselves encouraged you to look away from the monster. This is an elegant way to preserve fear of something that is essentially just polys and normal maps.

Yes! It just builds it up the anxiety and when you do catch a glimpse, the monster is so twisted & messed up you can't really piece together in your head what you're looking at & you're discouraged to look further. So brilliant
