Has anyone I know tried both the new 24 & 32" cintiqs? Might be looking to upgrade my 8yr old 24"HD. I'm not sure which would be better. Don't have tonnes of space, but could squeeze the 32 in at a pop. Thoughts on ergo stand vs arm appreciated too.
I use the 32" at work on an ergo stand and have a 24HD at home. I see a huge difference in clarity & brush quality and am considering upgrading my home setup . The 32 is BIG, the biggest cintiq I've ever used, and my coworkers say it wobbles too much on an arm--
--but i have no problem with the ergo stand since the screensize is HUGE anyway and I don't need to reposition or move it to draw. My elbow-to-wrist span hits maybe the middle of the screen? Never felt the need to adjust it.
And meant to ask so you don't find the 32" too big after the 24HD?
That's what I'm worried about with the arm, as I am overly sensitive to movement with the kind of linework and the like I do, and have enjoyed the ergo stand when I used the 27".
yeah, i would try testing it before you buy if possible. my coworker said the arm wobbled so much with the 32 that he ended up resting it on his desk and using it like an ergo stand
