I still remember Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, and 3, and Halo CE, 2, and 3 quite fondly!
If games like MGS, Halo, or even Uncharted & HZD turn the magical realism up to 11....are they realistic or stylized?

A really compelling and interesting question! My answer would be that every game is stylized, even the ones that try to look "real," because we can't ever achieve real, so the best we can do is "believable."
