Legit question though why is it so darned hard to get used to using procreate and/or iPad like the entire concept I’d literally the same but why am I finding it like swimming against a tide?
I'm also having a hard time. I think a lot of it is ui--the procreate UI is clean but lots of gestures, controls, and features are totally obfuscated unless you read the manual. Vs Photoshop where the UI is a heaping mess but if you dig enough you can find what you need

one thing I've found is that I got so used to the scale of the cintiq that I don't draw or think the same on a smaller device? one thing that has helped me feel like it used to is to zoom in much more than i think I need to, but idk if that will help!

I did end up zooming a ton and I did figure out how to color pick but layer modes are still a mystery and brushes with layer modes are apparently necessary for me to do anything
