I think they actually want to marry the violence. It stopped being about the woman a long time ago.
The only people who think that 2 dudes fighting to the death over a woman is romantic are dudes

So, so sad. I was ranting to my viewing group about how I can still "get into the heads" and understand motivations/desires of characters like Tyrion, Varys, Sandor, John, etc etc but trying to dig into how Cerci or Danny is feeling (internally) is like hitting clay with a shovel
