Again, there's plenty to be upset about, & this should score pretty low considering the current situation. Keep in mind that the head of the snake isn't really providing much in the way of leadership through this episode any longer.

This is too much!!! I already struggle with whether i should say: cup, glass, beverage dispenser, vessel for the imbibing of liquid refreshment. One word for everything is enough! sufficient! adequate! satisfactory! ample! abundant!

You realize someone first had to get upset about people being called "father, mother, beother, sister, etc" for this to be a thing right? Why aren't you telling those idiots to find something better to get upset about?

Maybe they should too. They also weren't actively plotting to overthrow the processes laid out by the Constitution at the time, hence the suggestion to find something better to be upset about. In the thread I gave examples as to why it's less confusing to use generic language.

Gendering the participants in these scenarios is unnecessary. Can cut down on confusion that may arise from androgynous given names, post-op folks, etc., & the number of words necessary to describe familial relationships. Can also remove gender biases shown in family court.
