I mean, we amputated infected legs if there’s nothing else we can do. And tonsils, in cases of chronic infection. Sometimes in order to avoid doing more harm you have to do the surgery.

Yes, but that's my point. Prophylactic (preventative) male circ is legal without any disease or condition. The same is not true for labiaplasty or any other surgery on female genitals. This is sexism & doesn't comply with medical ethics.

Ah, I see. I’m not sure if it was made to be sexist originally, I just think they thought cutting was better for men. So maybe a technical oversight, then?

No, the medical field started it as a Victorian era anti-sex campaign that never stopped. Everything else is a post-hoc rationalization.

Like female circumcision??? Do you know the meaning of "post-hoc"? I also don't care about intentions. The road to hell is paved with good "intentions".

I’m just saying I don’t think anyone rationalises Victorian medical movements. But maybe they change tack and just use it for preventative medical benefits? Not that I agree with that.

Conventional wisdom is that male circ has medical benefits. That myth is perpetuated by the medical industry that profits from this misinformation. Male circ has always been a cure in search of a disease.

The research industries don’t profit from misinformation and are not funded by the doctors that would benefit from their research. By the way, I’ll be at the library for today guys, but I’ll be back later.

I'll tell you this: the anger that I feel that I will never fully enjoy sex or masturbation is very intense if I allow myself to dwell on it. I was robbed. Part of my body was taken from me w/o my consent.

Have you ever researched the functionality of the foreskin? How much more romantic sex and foreplay can be? How much protection it can offer? How much more sensation and sexual pleasure the foreskin has? What the side effects of circumcision can be? How men get upset forever?

To say it gives you more sensation is slightly disingenuous, because you’re going off of the number of nerve endings in the skin, not the type. The outside of the foreskin felt like any other bit of skin, and I genuinely cannot tell the difference without it.

Why are you using a pressure threshold graph to demonstrate which bits feel good? My arm has a lot of receptors. It’s probably blue on the graph. It must feel fantastic. And my eyelids? God, they’re so red. I’m off to go stab them. (Because I’ve been shown so many dick pics.)

The point here is: The foreskin has a much higher density of fine touch receptors than other areas, other sensitivities (like temperature) are basically the same. If you don't think that touch sensitivity is for sexual pleasure then what IS it? Where does pleasure come from?

It’s just a high density of nociceptors. They respond easily to touch and remind you not to hit that spot. They’re the wrong type of receptor.

The feelings I feel about being cut are similar to the feelings of being violated that rape, FGM, or sexual assault victims feel. A part of you was taken that you will never get back. Your body was violated.
