I started this debate with one particular person in a very specific way, to learn about the intactivist movement. I didn’t disagree with circumcision, just the idea of publicising a movement that wants a ban identical to “FGM law.” I don’t disagree with circumcision.

Then honestly you can just ask. We want to end circumcision for religious, cultural and non-theraputic medical purposes. If there actually is an issue, something that needs surgery to fix, by all means, circumcision is acceptable, but 99+% of circumcisions are not done this way.
