Although stretching is (also) part of the salve-treatment, stretching on its own can be another method of treating a phimosis. If circumcised people are able to restore their entire foreskin by stretching (over the span 4 years), you also can stretch the foreskin in scope.
Phimosis can be detected early. Preputioplasty would be harder than circumcision for babies. Balanitis infections can be really dangerous for babies, and if they’re one of the 11% of clinical attendees or catch it from another child, circumcision can prevent it from recurring.

Phimosis is not even diagnosable until early to mid teens. The AVERAGE age of retraction is 10 years old.

You’re not mentioning balanitis. That was the main part of the statement there.

You are continuing to argue minutia, and I'm off to bed. There seem to be an awful lot of people that want to 'what about if' with this issue. Don't cut babies. Educate medical staff on alternatives to circumcision. Let men choose. Goodnight.

99.6% Of all circumcisions in the West are perpetrated on non-consenting children for no reason whatsoever. Let's just keep that in mind.
-
So you want to ban circumcision and let the other 0.4%’s dicks drop off? That’s quite a lot of people.
-
You're not considering the number of men who literally have their penines cut off in botched circumcisions. Or the infants that bleed out after it. Or who had too much taken and now have pain during intercourse.

Circumcision has no place in modern society
