Also feel free to throw out your neuroscience and cognition questions. I'm officially not qualified to answer them, but this has never stopped me before.

What are you most read up on in neuroscience and cognition?

My core has always been anatomy/physiology and my own branch of cog theory that began with complex adaptive systems, more or less. I don't take most of mainstream ML seriously, but there are some smaller streams I'm coming to grips with. You?

Focused on neuroscience of emotion. Working my way through a literature review of Panksepp's SEEKING system. Alternatively rendered as the system concerned with reward. Not at all familiar with the cog theory or larger theory side of things.

Anatomy is an aspect I'd like to know very well. Psychic plumbing

If I was to ask for help with only one thing, it would be orienting to the cognitive side of things. A second one would be knowing if you took any special effort to learn neuroanatomy.

But it would be fun to get together and chat period.

Yes! Motivation and emotions are a fun area, generally underappreciated. I'd be happy to share what I think I've gleaned so far. On anatomy/physiology (a little chemistry), yeah, I've been hitting it hard since the 90's and still going today. DM at will, we'll set up a time.
